Privacy Policy for iCT-PG

Who are we

We are a research team within the Oxford Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma, University of Oxford. We are currently running a feasibility randomised controlled trial investigating the efficacy of a therapist-assisted internet-based cognitive therapy for prolonged grief (iCT-PG). 

 

This study has been reviewed and approved by the Yorkshire and the Humber Bradford Leeds Research Ethics Committee (Ethics Ref: [23/YH/0061]   IRAS Project ID: 311815). The study is funded by the Medical Research Council, a medical charity. The grant was awarded after review by international experts. The study is also supported by the NIHR Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre and the Wellcome Trust. If you would like more information about the study, please visit the study’s website.

The iCT-PG site and the iCT-PG app

Both tools the iCT-PG site and the iCT-PG app have been developed within the research group of Oxford Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma, University of Oxford. These tools are used to support and investigate the internet delivered cognitive treatment for prolonged grief (iCT-PG). 

 

We only collect the data we need

To run the tools so that it helps you better manage your mental health challenges and to run the study you will be a part of if you decide to join this treatment the feasibility randomised controlled trial for a therapist-assisted internet-based cognitive therapy for prolonged grief (iCT-PG).

 

We share some data with your health care team

This is so that they can monitor your care. We will ask your health care team contacts before you start your treatment and give you an opportunity to review all correspondence before it is sent. 

 

Your data’s safe with us

We work to the data safety standards of UK Data protection regulation to protect your data from being lost, stolen or misused. The data controller and sponsor of this study is the University of Oxford.
